Portrait Tattoo Of My Wife
The laser removal of the tribal tattoo on my upper arm seems to be coming along so the 3rd sitting as part of my full sleeve with Steve Toth is a portrait tattoo of my wife Nicola.
Originally we had planned to just have my wifes eyes peeping through some flowers, possibly the Roses and Peonise flowers we had at our wedding but we found a photo from our holiday in Borneo that my wife really liked.
Both my wife and I have Dementia in the family so I like to think it will remind me in years to come who I married too!
The 3rd sitting took around 6 hours. It was slightly tender around the inside of the elbow and the inside near the top of the armpit but apart from that it was OK.
Stencil
This is what my portrait tattoo looked like once the stencil had been made. My wife approved the design before Steve could start!
3 Hours in
This is what my portrait tattoo looked like 3 hours in. Slighty sore around the inside of the elbow but apart from that not to bad.
4.5 Hours In
This is what my portrait tattoo looked like after 4.5 hours in. I even managed a cheeky power nap during it!
Finished
This is what my portrait tattoo looked like after it had been finished after 7 hours. It was a bit sore at the top of the arm.
Healed
This is what my portrait tattoo of my wife looked like once it had healed and been professionally photographed by Steve.
